Description
Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble provides a fun, groovy, multi-dimensional, polyphonic, Marimba-based performance! In addition to the 4 ½ octave family of marimbas, this uplifting 8-piece ensemble also includes the sounds of mandolin, trumpet, melodica, flute, drums, percussion, cajon, steelpan, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophones, baritone horn, and voice. Featuring original compositions by David Alderdice as well as original arrangements of music from Africa, North and South America, the Caribbean, and the Balkans.Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
