Your Community Over Coffee is an excellent opportunity for community members to meet with government officials and community leaders to discuss important issues. Coffee and pastries are served for you to enjoy during your conversations.
The event is an informal round table discussion in which our speakers will be rotating between tables, allowing all of our guests an opportunity to engage in conversation with each speaker.

Janet Rowland, Mesa County Commissioner- Janet has three decades of experience looking for ways to build community partnerships to solve problems, especially for the most vulnerable. She continues to advocate for children in need, hard-working families, mental health, and economic growth.
JJ Fletcher, 2024 Candidate for Mesa County Commissioner - As a candidate for Mesa County, JJ’s top priorities include economic development, mental health, agriculture, and the protection of water rights.
Greg Mikolai, Mayor of Palisade - Greg Mikolai was recently re-elected as mayor of Palisade. Mikolai has been the mayor of Palisade since 2020. During that time, the Town of Palisade saw the opening of a new health clinic, the introduction of fiber internet, and helped bring in over $16 million in grants.
Bobbie Gross, Mesa County Clerk and Recorder - As the County Clerk and Recorder Bobbie Gross is responsible for the functions of Motor Vehicle, Recording, Elections, Liquor and Marijuana licensing. She also records and maintains the official records of the Board of County Commissioners' public meetings.
Cassidee Shull, Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology (CAVE) - Executive Director of CAVE since 2011, she has worked tirelessly to represent Colorado wine and agriculture. Two other major accomplishments of Cassidee include the growth of the Colorado Mountain Wine Festival as well as the VinCO Conference and Trade Show.
