Job Description
STRIVE’s Board of Directors is looking for a leader with a track record of success. A
successful candidate will have a passion for our mission; compassion for the
challenges of our staff and our intellectual developmentally disabled individuals, a
high degree of integrity and the ability to form solid working relationships.
The person in this position will report to a Board of Directors; will be expected to
create a culture of empowerment for staff and clients; and successfully navigate fiscal
and bureaucratic challenges.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have common sense and a sense of
humor, understand the unique culture of the Western Slope of Colorado; have
outstanding communication skills and have experience in the non-profit sector.
